Ingredients
- 1 bag (10 oz) sturdy tortilla chips
- 1 lb ground pork
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 3 scallions, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha sauce
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 cup shredded sharp white cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 1 tsp Salted Perfection Sriracha Finishing Salt
- 1 lime, cut into wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground pork, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic, ginger, and white parts of the scallions to the pork. Stir and cook for 2 minutes until fragrant. This is where the flavor punches ya in the chops!
- Stir in the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sriracha sauce, and toasted sesame oil. Cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Remove from heat.
- Spread the tortilla chips evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Scatter the cooked pork mixture over the chips, then sprinkle evenly with cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Don’t let ’em burn, capisce?
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with Salted Perfection Sriracha Finishing Salt, toasted sesame seeds, chopped cilantro, and the green parts of the scallions.
- Serve hot with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over. Now that’s a knockout appetizer to start any feast!
