Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked brown rice, chilled
- 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp neutral oil
- 2 tbsp Salted Perfection Key West Select Blend
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat until it's shimmering.
- Add the red pepper and garlic. Sauté for 2 minutes, keeping things moving so the garlic stays sweet and doesn't burn.
- Toss in the pineapple. Let it sear for a minute without touching it to get some golden color on those sugars.
- Fold in the chilled brown rice. Break up any clumps with your spatula so the grains stay separate and get coated in the oil.
- Add the soy sauce and the Salted Perfection Key West Select Blend. The citrus and spice in the blend are going to bridge the gap between the savory soy and the sweet fruit.
- Stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes until the rice is heated through and looks toasted.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the green onions. DUNZO!
