Made to serve: 1-2
Scale:
Ingredients
- 1 cup full-fat coconut milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tsp powdered erythritol
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 tsp lime zest
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1 tsp unflavored gelatin powder
- 2 tbsp cold water
- 1/2 tsp Salted Perfection Chili Lime Finishing Salt
Instructions
- In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over 2 tbsp cold water and let bloom for 5 minutes. No shortcuts here, gotta let that gelatin work its magic.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine coconut milk, heavy cream, erythritol, and vanilla extract. Stir gently until sweetener dissolves and mixture is hot but not boiling—don't scorch the goods!
- Remove the saucepan from heat and whisk in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved. Add lime zest and lime juice; mix well to wake up those flavors.
- Pour the mixture evenly into two 6-ounce ramekins. Let it cool to room temp for about 15 minutes, then cover with plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set firmly—patience is a virtue, like a good marinara simmer.
- Before serving, sprinkle each panna cotta with a pinch of Salted Perfection Chili Lime Finishing Salt for that bold, salty-citrus punch that’ll make your taste buds sing.
- Serve chilled and enjoy the creamy, zesty, and slightly spicy dance on your tongue. And hey, life’s too short for boring desserts!
