We are taking the humble Brussels sprout and elevating it to an absolute art form. You want tight, vibrant green sprouts for this—nothing yellowed or sad. We are tossing them with thick-cut bacon right in the air fryer so that glorious, smoky rendered fat coats every single leaf. Then, the real magic happens. The Carlisle Select Blend brings an intense, bright citrus punch and a piney rosemary hit that slices straight through the rich pork fat. The coarse pretzel salt in the blend gives you this incredible textural crunch on the outer charred leaves. It is pure, unadulterated flavor, perfectly balanced, and entirely keto-friendly.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 4 oz thick-cut bacon, chopped into 1/2-inch lardons
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Salted Perfection Carlisle Select Blend

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F. Give it a good five minutes to get ripping hot inside. We want instant, searing heat the second these fresh vegetables drop.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts, bacon lardons, and extra virgin olive oil. Toss them until every sprout has a light sheen of oil to protect it while the bacon starts rendering.
  3. Sprinkle the Salted Perfection Carlisle Select Blend over the bowl. Toss vigorously. You want that coarse pretzel salt, chipotle, and rosemary clinging to the flat, cut sides of the sprouts.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the air fryer basket in a single, even layer. Do not crowd the basket, or the sprouts will steam instead of roasting. Cook for 15 to 18 minutes.
  5. Pull the basket out halfway through the cooking time and give it a hard shake. This ensures the bacon crisps on all sides and the sprouts get an even, gorgeous char on those delicate outer leaves.
  6. Remove from the air fryer when the bacon is perfectly crisp and the sprouts are tender inside with dark, crispy edges. Transfer to a warm serving platter and serve immediately. DUNZO!

Tony’s Fine Print

They tell me every recipe needs a little fine print, so here’s mine. I do my best to keep things straight, no surprises and no sneaky allergens. The info you see here is put together with care, capisce? But kitchens are wild places and ingredients do not always behave. Always double-check the labels on what you buy, especially if you have allergies or dietary restrictions. If something does not look right, trust your gut (and your doctor) before you trust me. Bottom line: I am here to guide, not to diagnose. You cook, you taste, you take responsibility.

Deal? Good. Now let’s eat.
