Scale:

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup Pine nuts
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp Salted Perfection Santa Maria Select Blend

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil! Salt it heavy!
  2. Drop the green beans in for exactly 3 minutes! We want them tender but with a serious snap!
  3. Drain the beans and plunge them immediately into a bowl of ice water! Keep that color bright and beautiful!
  4. In a large dry skillet over medium heat, toast the pine nuts! Shake the pan constantly until they are golden and fragrant! Remove them and set aside!
  5. Wipe out the skillet and add the olive oil! Get it shimmering!
  6. Toss in the sliced garlic and cherry tomatoes! Sauté for 3 minutes until the tomatoes start to blister and soften!
  7. Add the chilled green beans and the Salted Perfection Santa Maria Select Blend to the skillet!
  8. Toss everything together for 2 minutes until the beans are heated through and coated in those incredible herbs and spices!
  9. Transfer to a serving platter and top with the toasted pine nuts! DUNZO!

Tony’s Fine Print

They tell me every recipe needs a little fine print, so here’s mine. I do my best to keep things straight, no surprises and no sneaky allergens. The info you see here is put together with care, capisce? But kitchens are wild places and ingredients do not always behave. Always double-check the labels on what you buy, especially if you have allergies or dietary restrictions. If something does not look right, trust your gut (and your doctor) before you trust me. Bottom line: I am here to guide, not to diagnose. You cook, you taste, you take responsibility.

Deal? Good. Now let’s eat.
