These aren't your average party snacks. We're talking plump shrimp and smoky chorizo getting hit with that citrusy, island heat from the Key West blend. The air fryer crisps up the edges of the sausage while keeping the shrimp tender. It's a high-impact bite that's gone in seconds, perfect for a crowd that appreciates real flavor without the fuss.

Made to serve: 8+
Scale:

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb Spanish chorizo, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 3 tbsp Salted Perfection Key West Select Blend
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels to ensure the seasoning sticks and the air fryer can do its job without steaming the meat.
  2. Slice the chorizo into rounds about the same thickness as your shrimp so they finish cooking at the same time.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the shrimp and chorizo with the olive oil and the Salted Perfection Key West Select Blend until every piece is coated evenly.
  4. Thread one shrimp and one slice of chorizo onto a small wooden skewer. If you are serving a big group, the 4-inch bamboo knots work best for easy grabbing.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for about 3 minutes to ensure it is hot enough to sear.
  6. Place the skewers in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Work in batches if you have to, because crowding the basket will kill your char.
  7. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes, giving the basket a gentle shake or flipping the skewers halfway through, until the shrimp are opaque and the chorizo is sizzling.
  8. Transfer to a platter, garnish with the fresh parsley, and serve immediately. DUNZO!

Tony’s Fine Print

They tell me every recipe needs a little fine print, so here’s mine. I do my best to keep things straight, no surprises and no sneaky allergens. The info you see here is put together with care, capisce? But kitchens are wild places and ingredients do not always behave. Always double-check the labels on what you buy, especially if you have allergies or dietary restrictions. If something does not look right, trust your gut (and your doctor) before you trust me. Bottom line: I am here to guide, not to diagnose. You cook, you taste, you take responsibility.

Deal? Good. Now let’s eat.
