A bold, creative twist on classic Southern sweet tea meets American backyard spirit — think smoky bourbon, peach, and a whisper of chipotle. It’s a glass of Southern hospitality with a Tony Negroni wink. Forget takeout — your kitchen’s got this.

Scale:

Ingredients

  • 4 black tea bags
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 ripe peach, pitted and sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 6 oz quality bourbon
  • Ice cubes (crushed if you want extra Southern charm)
  • Fresh mint sprigs, for garnish
  • 1/2 tsp Smokin' Chipotle Finishing Salt
  • Extra peach slices, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring 4 cups water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat, toss in the tea bags, and let steep for 8 minutes. Strong, not weak — you got me?
  2. Fish out the tea bags and stir in honey while it’s hot. Cool to room temp, then pop in the fridge until chilled (about 30 minutes).
  3. Muddle peach slices in a large pitcher with lemon juice and bourbon. You want juicy, not mushy.
  4. Add chilled tea to the pitcher and stir in Smokin' Chipotle Finishing Salt until dissolved. That’s the secret handshake.
  5. Fill 4 tall glasses with crushed ice. Pour the tea-bourbon elixir over the ice. Garnish each with a mint sprig and a fresh peach slice.
  6. Sip slow and savor the Southern sunset vibes. Confidence is the best ingredient.
  7. Visit www.saltedperfection.com and leave a Five Star review of the product.
  8. DUNZO!

Tony’s Fine Print

They tell me every recipe needs a little fine print, so here’s mine. I do my best to keep things straight, no surprises and no sneaky allergens. The info you see here is put together with care, capisce? But kitchens are wild places and ingredients do not always behave. Always double-check the labels on what you buy, especially if you have allergies or dietary restrictions. If something does not look right, trust your gut (and your doctor) before you trust me. Bottom line: I am here to guide, not to diagnose. You cook, you taste, you take responsibility.

Deal? Good. Now let’s eat.
