Scale:

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, if you like a little slap)
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salted Perfection South Beach Select Blend
  • 1 tbsp honey (raw, paleo-friendly)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, turmeric, cayenne (if using), and South Beach Select Blend until fully combined. Should smell like a flavor bomb, capisce?
  2. Stir in honey, cilantro, and parsley. The marinade should be thick, glossy, and flecked with herbs.
  3. Pour over 1–2 lbs of your protein or veg of choice in a large zip-top bag or non-reactive bowl. Toss to coat, massage it in like you mean it.
  4. Marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour, up to 8 hours. Trust me, longer is flavor town—just don’t go overnight for fish.
  5. Shake off excess marinade before cooking. Grill, roast, or sauté until your food is crispy, not soggy — you got me?
  6. DUNZO!

Tony’s Fine Print

They tell me every recipe needs a little fine print, so here’s mine. I do my best to keep things straight, no surprises and no sneaky allergens. The info you see here is put together with care, capisce? But kitchens are wild places and ingredients do not always behave. Always double-check the labels on what you buy, especially if you have allergies or dietary restrictions. If something does not look right, trust your gut (and your doctor) before you trust me. Bottom line: I am here to guide, not to diagnose. You cook, you taste, you take responsibility.

Deal? Good. Now let’s eat.
