This is the real deal—a punchy, creamy sauce that doesn't hide behind a mountain of sugar. It’s got enough bite to wake up a prime rib but enough balance to keep you coming back for more.

Made to serve: 3-4
Scale:

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup prepared horseradish, drained
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tbsp Salted Perfection Abilene Select Blend

Instructions

  1. Whisk the sour cream and mayonnaise in a medium bowl until the texture is completely smooth.
  2. Fold in the drained horseradish and the Dijon mustard until well combined.
  3. Add the lemon juice and the Salted Perfection Abilene Select Blend, stirring to distribute the seasoning evenly.
  4. Mix in the chopped chives for a fresh, herbal finish.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes; the cold environment allows the flavors to meld and the horseradish to permeate the cream.
  6. Serve chilled alongside roast beef, steak, or even a smoked fish platter. DUNZO!

Tony’s Fine Print

They tell me every recipe needs a little fine print, so here’s mine. I do my best to keep things straight, no surprises and no sneaky allergens. The info you see here is put together with care, capisce? But kitchens are wild places and ingredients do not always behave. Always double-check the labels on what you buy, especially if you have allergies or dietary restrictions. If something does not look right, trust your gut (and your doctor) before you trust me. Bottom line: I am here to guide, not to diagnose. You cook, you taste, you take responsibility.

Deal? Good. Now let’s eat.
