Made to serve: 3-4
Scale:
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 medium garlic clove, finely minced
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil (liquid gold, baby!)
- 1/2 teaspoon South Beach Select Blend
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
Instructions
- Whisk together lime juice, orange juice, honey, Dijon, and minced garlic in a medium bowl until honey dissolves.
- Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking briskly—emulsion is the name of the game here. Should look silky, not separated.
- Sprinkle in South Beach Select Blend, cumin, and black pepper. Whisk again. If using, fold in cilantro at the end. Taste and adjust seasoning; balance is everything.
- Pour into a jar. Chill for at least 15 minutes so the flavors get cozy.
- Shake well before serving. Drizzle over crisp greens, grilled shrimp, or whatever needs a Latin-Caribbean hug.
- DUNZO!
